I was born in Peru in the late 70's and lived there until 2005. After that, I moved to the U.S. when an job opportunity was opened to me. I have a beautiful Filipino wife and two amazing daughters, with whom I try to spend the most time I can. My parents still live in Peru and once in a while I go there to enjoy its food and people.

Regarding my professional career, I have been deeply involved in implementing different ERP solutions such as Sungard Banner, SAP, and Infor PM 10 (using Oracle and MS SQL Server as RDBMS) in several organizations are worked before, which involved several departments in the organizations like Human Resources, Planing, Accounting, Production, Training, and Marketing. At the same time, I have extensive experience leading and developing software projects in .NET and J2EE technologies. I possess solid knowledge of Microsoft .NET platform which includes C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET (MVC 2/3), SharePoint Components (including MOSS 2007/2010), SQL Server (2K/2005/2008) as well as scripting tools such as JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, Scriptaculous. I also have expertise in the J2EE platform, which includes technologies such as JSP, Servlets, Beans, Java Portlets (Oracle IAS), and J2ME. In addition, I have extensive experience administering MS SQL Server (7.0/2000/2005) and Oracle (9i/10g/11g). My tasks as database administrator included the creation of database objects (PL/SQL packages, functions, stored procedures, constraints, sequences), creation of maintenance plans (backups and restore), tuning databases (indexes, log files, data files), data mining, data transformation services, and managing replication processes. This web application was built using ASP.NET, C#, JSON, AJAX and Entity Libraries.

 Administered and implemented databases in SQL Server 2005/2008. Responsible for all the database modeling tasks and administrative tasks, including the creation of maintenance plans (backups/restore, replication and distribution process, and data transformation services), database objects (tables, views, triggers, constraints, stored procedures, functions, synonyms), and tuning processes.  In charge of the installation and administration of the SQL Server Reporting Services and its integration with the company’s current databases. Also, technical leader of the architecture definition, creation and deployment of reports using SQL Server Business Intelligence Studio and SAP Crystal Reports XI.  Definition of the development standards for the creation of database objects as well as the naming conventions for the programming stage of the projects. This task includes the identification of the elements necessary to be implemented on the client-side such as validations and browser effects (JavaScript, JQuery, JSON); and the identification of processes executable in the server-side such as ASP.NET (MVC2), WCF RIA services, Entity libraries.  Integration of Infor10 PLM Process and Infor10 ERP Process Business into the company’s intranet which was running under SharePoint 2010 and SQL Server 2008 R2.  Creation of DTS packages to load the data into Adage databases as well as the creation of windows (C#, XML) and WCF RIA services to launch Adage internal process. In addition, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports were integrated into Adage and into the company’s current web applications.  Integration of FlyingFood’s current applications with Infor10 PLM Process (Optiva), especially for the development of food specifications and recipes. This task included the creation of DTS packages to load the data into Optiva databases as well as the creation of .NET WCF RIA services to launch Optiva action sets for reports and the rollup processes for prices calculation.

This included the extraction of data from Sungard Banner ERP (running in Oracle 10g as a RDBMS and Oracle Forms 10g) and the development of Windows services (C#, XML) to process legacy files (CSV, TXT, and XML). * Led the design, development and deployment of the Human Resources Application, the Content Management System, and the Automatic Testing System using J2EE platform (OC4J portlets, JSP, Servlets, Beans) ColdFusion, JQuery (Core and UI Objects), AJAX, and Oracle as RDBMS. * Designed and developed the university Mobile Application for iPhones and iPads (under iOS SDK 4.0) fed by Oracle J2EE XML web services. * Maintenance of the public web site (http://www.regent.edu) and the university’s blackboard web site. Integration of web applications with Active Directory for security and logging purposes.
