About bch.design

My name is Bartosz Chojnowski and I am a Graphic Designer.

Raised in artistic family, I have always loved to draw and paint on every surface available, appreciating beauty of surrounding world.

Seventeen years ago, after I've passed all the exams to the Private School of Computer Science on Artistic profile, I found out they changed it into IT. That forced me to start learning about something I didn't have a clue - computers ;)

In the late 1990s I taught 2D and 3D graphics at Zespól Szkól Informatycznych (Computer Science School) in Poland for two years. However teaching a course syllabus was not creatively stimulating enough and I decided to develop my talent by taking a job at a private companies as a Graphic Designer, where I primarily designed corporate logos and web pages.

At the same time I was a student at Academy of Visual Arts in Poznan, with the subjects: Art History, Photography, 3D design,
Painting, Drawing, Animation, Art, Film Production and more.

This experience encouraged me to progress further and explore more possibilities to complement my passion, hence I decided to leave my home country and pursue my career in England.

London greeted me not only with rain but also fresh stimulus and innovation. Since my transition to freelance designer in an alien environment I have learn to communicate my perspectives of the world through digital media to a broader audience. I also relish the experience of translating the ideas of others without their own time or means into a physical reality.

Visual arts, particularly painting and film, have always been a major influence on my work. This is reflected in my designs, which are currently predominated by photography. With the transition of time my pleasure in my work and desire for improvement accelerates….

Since I came to London I've worked in restaurant and bars, having a break from my career, but I've learned new abilities, like dealing with the customers and sell the products.
In free time I was working on a small projects on my Facebook Page : bch.design.

On January 2012 I started online Graphic Design course, which includes training on the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, Dreamwaver, Autocad and more.
It will finish with Computer Graphics Certificate (EITCA-CG).

I'm looking for opportunities to work in my profession, to use my ideas, creativity and refresh my skills.
This is my passion.
This is what I'm enjoying to do. Hope you will too.
